The River Family Foundation is a parent-led non-profit organization that connects families to our school and plays a key role in strengthening our community and our children’s experience. Through fundraising, volunteering and program and event coordination, we aim to enhance our children’s academic learning with experiences that support their social and emotional growth. We strive to create stronger bonds between
parents, faculty and students.

Research shows that when parents are involved in their children's education, the children are more likely to* :

earn better grades.
score higher on tests.
pass their classes.
attend school regularly.
have better social skills.
show improved behavior.
be more positive in their attitude toward school.
complete homework assignments.
graduate and continue their education.

In the spirit of this research, the River Family Foundation encourages parent participation however big or small. We invite you to join our monthly meetings the third Tuesday of every month from 6pm-7pm in the River Library. These meetings are informative around volunteer opportunities and all school updates.
